Remember those awesome Black Ops missions? Sneaking into a Russian base at night? Stopping a nuke with seconds left? These moments made Black Ops a gaming legend. Now, there’s talk of a new chapter: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Here’s the big question for PlayStation fans: Is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coming to PS4? Let’s break down what we know to get you pumped!
Great news for PlayStation fans! Activision officially said Black Ops 6 will be on PlayStation along with the newer PS5. This means you can keep playing Black Ops on PlayStation like always. Black Ops 6 is also coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, so it will be a big gaming event for everyone, no matter what console they use.
What’s the Story in Black Ops 6?
We don’t know everything yet, but teasers suggest a dark and exciting story. A mysterious website called “TheTruthLies” popped up with weird broadcasts and famous places marked with the Black Ops 6 logo. People think the story might be set during the Gulf War, but we’ll have to wait and see for sure.
Black Ops wouldn’t be Black Ops without its crazy multiplayer. A trailer showed the classic 6v6 battles coming back, along with brand new maps to test your skills. The popular “Round-Based Zombies” mode is also back, so you can team up with friends and blast away at undead hordes for hours. We still need to wait for more details about other game modes, weapons, and how you can change your character.
Pre-Order Bonuses and Maybe a Beta?
You’ll probably be able to pre-order Black Ops 6 soon. Pre-orders often come with extra stuff, like getting to play a part of the game early (called a beta) before everyone else. This lets players try the game and give feedback to the developers.
When Does Black Ops 6 Come Out?
In the past, Call of Duty games came out in October or November. If they follow that pattern again, Black Ops 6 might be released on October 25, 2024. We’re still waiting for Activision to say for sure.
Black Ops 6 is the next part of a beloved series. Since it’s confirmed for PS4, PlayStation gamers can get ready for a wild story, intense multiplayer battles, and the return of the awesome “Round-Based Zombies” mode. As we get closer to launch, we’ll learn more.
