Radahn, once a super strong warrior, is now a super tough enemy in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree. This guide will teach you exactly how to defeat Radahn In Elden Ring. Don’t worry if you haven’t met him yet. This guide will get you ready for the big showdown that’s coming your way. So, let’s get ready to take down this giant enemy!
Get Ready to Fight
Aim to be level 70 or higher for this fight. Pick stats that help your fighting style. Strength and Dexterity are good for close-up combat, while Magic or Faith boost spells. Health (Vigor) is super important to survive Radahn’s big hits. You’ll want a strong shield that can block all his normal attacks. The Fingerprint Shield is really good for this. A weapon that can make Radahn bleed is great too, like the Bloodhound’s Fang. Bows or magic can also be helpful to hit him from far away. Wear armor that stops a lot of physical damage, but not so much that you move slowly. Medium armor is a good choice.
Call on Spirit Ashes to distract Radahn and deal extra damage. Mimic Tear or Black Knife Tiche are awesome choices because they fight hard and hit really hard. Grab lots of healing flasks (Crimson Tears) and blue flasks (Cerulean Flasks) to keep yourself going. Use buffs like Rotten Breath Boluses and Crab Cakes to hit Radahn harder. Golden Vow and Alexander’s Shard make you hit harder and take less damage for a short time.
How To Defeat Radahn In Elden Ring
When you reach the fight area, a cutscene shows Radahn, and the battle starts. They’re on your team, helping you take down the big enemy. Radahn uses both strong swings with his swords and magic that pulls you towards him. His normal attacks are slow and easy to see coming, so you can block them with your shield or dodge out of the way.
Round One:
Let the other warriors and your Spirit Ash take most of the hits at first. Try to get behind Radahn and hit him when he’s not looking. Be careful not to get stuck between Radahn and his friends! You’ll see golden circles on the ground. If you stand on them, you can call in more warriors to fight Radahn.
Do this whenever you can, it does a lot of damage. Radahn has magic that pulls you closer to him. If this happens, be ready to dodge or block the attack that comes after. You can also try to stay far away from him to avoid getting pulled in.
Round Two:
When Radahn gets hurt enough, a cutscene will play. After that, he’ll jump way up in the air.
Right after the cutscene, run behind one of the big pillars in the arena. This will protect you from a big attack Radahn makes when he lands. Radahn comes back down, but now he’s covered in red energy, and his attacks are even stronger. They can also give you Scarlet Rot, which hurts you over time.
Even though Radahn is faster now, his attacks are still easy to see coming. Keep using your shield to block, and then hit him back when you have a chance. Try to use a weapon that makes him bleed. Keep an eye on how much Scarlet Rot you have. If it gets too high, use Preserving Boiled Crabs or Crab Raves to stop it. After some attacks, Radahn leaves himself open for a short time. This is your chance to hit him with your strongest attack or spell.
Radahn is a tough fight, and you might need to try a few times to beat him. But if you follow these tips, be patient, and keep hitting him when you can, you’ll eventually take down the Starscourge!
Don’t get discouraged if you lose at first. Radahn is very hard, and it might take a few tries. Try using different Spirit Ashes to see which one works best for you.
