Ever since the world went crazy in Once Human, weird stuff keeps happening. This guide is here to help you with one of those weird things: the Strange Empty House quest in Once Human. Follow these steps, and you’ll find the spooky house, solve its mystery, and get a cool new friend, the Disco Ball Deviant!
Start The Strange Empty House Quest
You start the “Strange Empty House” quest by talking to a person named Jeremiah. You can find her in towns or camps, but her spot changes each time you play. Jeremiah tells you about a weird house that keeps moving around the map. She wants you to find out what’s going on, so you take the quest.
The quest marker Jeremiah gives you won’t take you right to the house. Instead, it shows you a big area where the house might be. Now comes the fun part: exploring! You need to look very carefully in the area Jeremiah showed you for a house that looks like no one lives there.
This is the tricky part! The house isn’t always in the same spot. It can show up in four places on Chalk Peak:
- Whispering Pines: Look around the edges of this forest. The house might be hiding among the trees.
- Evergreen Vineyard: Search around the grapevines and buildings where they make juice.
- Abandoned Quarry: Be careful here, the ground is all broken up! The house might be hiding behind rocks or near the machines.
- Hales’ Moving House: This place is full of houses that keep moving around. There’s a chance the empty house you need might be here too.
Once you find the house, walk up and open the door. It might look empty at first, but there’s more to it than that! Try touching things inside the house, like furniture, pictures, or bookshelves. It might look normal, but when you try shoot three hands that are in a centre of house, a short movie thing plays, and the ghost disappears!.
The ghost will talk in riddles and pieces of sentences. Listen closely because it’s trying to tell you where to find special things called Consciousness Fragments. You need all of these to finish the quest.
Finding Consciousness Fragments
The ghost’s riddles will lead you to different places on Chalk Peak. It might be a special rock, a broken building, or something else interesting. Go to each place and look around carefully. The Consciousness Fragments are well hidden, so take your time!
Once you have all four Consciousness Fragments, head back to the empty house. Touch the same thing that made the ghost appear before. When you put the Fragments back in the house, a secret passage will open up!
Climb down the secret passage, and you’ll find a hidden room. There will be a chest in the middle. Open it up, and you’ll get your reward, the awesome Disco Ball Deviant!
With this guide, you should be able to finish the Strange Empty House quest in Once Human. You’ll have solved a mystery, and you’ll have a cool new friend to light up your way!
